CFU Teaching Staff
Crimea Federal University boasts around 700 instructors, including approximately 100 doctors of sciences and 350 candidates of sciences. The university is home to 39 professors who are academicians and corresponding members of local and international academies.
Campus and Hostel Buildings
The Crimea Federal University campus spans 17.3 hectares (excluding clinical bases) and includes 16 school buildings, five dormitories, a covered track and field athletics arena, a sports complex with a stadium and swimming pool, and various eateries. The university's library houses over 600,000 volumes, and it even has its own publishing facility.
Hostel Facilities at Crimea Federal University
Located within the main campus, students can attend their classes at the university within walking distance from the hostels.
Indian students travel off-campus from the 3rd year onward to attend classes in various hospitals.
All hostels are equipped with a CCTV surveillance system and a fire alarm safety system to ensure the safety of international students.
Students can choose from 2/3/4 seater rooms, which include study tables and chairs, beds, bed sheets, wardrobes, lamps, etc.
If students wish to change or upgrade their room, they can submit an application to the hostel administration.
Indian students (boys/girls) are provided accommodation in separate hostels/floors, ensuring complete separation.
Hostels have common facilities, including kitchens, laundry, sports hall, and reading hall, available on each floor.
It is not compulsory to stay in the hostel during the first year of the MBBS program at Crimea Federal University.
From the 2nd year onwards, students can choose to rent a flat/apartment if they wish or continue staying in the university hostel.
All Indian festivals like Diwali, Holi, and Eid are celebrated with enthusiasm and joy every year.
Annual sports events (mostly cricket) and cultural events are organized by CFU (Simferopol) for Indian students.
Food in Russia
There are many food options available, including Chinese and Indian cuisines, so meals won't be an issue. On the university campus, you can find Indian food, and there are inexpensive eateries nearby. Various types of vegetables and commodities are accessible in supermarkets.
